“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” Proverbs 8:17
The Bible says, “They that seek Me early shall find me”. The word “early” here means to dawn. It also means to be up early at any task (with the implication of earnestness). Not only are we encouraged to pray early in the morning, but I believe the Lord is also encouraging us to seek Him before making decisions, and as we go about our daily lives. I call it simply “checking in.” Before my husband comes home, he will call me just to check in and see if I need anything. God wants to teach you how to value His guidance and slow down long enough to see what He wants you to do. Sometimes you may not hear an audible voice saying do this or that, just a gentle nudge. That nudge will bless your life and the lives of those you care for.
Let’s not allow the enemy to distract us with all of the cares of life today. Let’s stay sober and vigilant, listening for the direction of the Holy Ghost. We will locate the wisdom of God, and will find life and the favor of the Lord (see Proverbs 8:35).
Prayer: Father God, I pray that you guide me today. Don’t let me become so distracted that I miss receiving from you valuable wisdom and direction. Help me to slow down, quiet down, and hear the leading of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen Amen and Amen. I receive in JESUS CHRIST name. Thank YOU LORD, Thank YOU FATHER GOD and thank YOU for Your HOLY SPIRIT❤️😊🙏🏽
In Jesus name Amen
Thank You Lord.♥️♥️♥️
This is so timely!! In April God told me to meet with Him at dawn and I’ve been struggling to obey. And on June 5th I found myself committing every decision I would make about my life and future to God. Though I’m one day late to reading the devotional, I believe it’s a confirmation for me that God is acknowledging my prayers and I need to stay committed to the prayers I made and the instructions He’s given. Thank you Lord for your mercy and giving me this second chance.
Yes, there’s a strong spirit of distraction fighting against my connection and destiny with the Lord. Thank you. Blessings, Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽
