I remember years ago when thunderstorms and a tornado swept through southwest Georgia. Looking out of the window, my two-year-old daughter said, “Mommy, storm!” I said, “I know, but you see these walls? The storm can’t get through these walls.” She continued to look outside the window, and the more she looked at the trees and heard the strong winds, the more afraid she became. Again, she cried, “Mommy, storm!” And again, I reassured her. “I know, but the storm is out there, and you are in here.” As soon as those words left my lips, I heard the voice of Holy Spirit speaking to me. He said, “The storms in your life are on the outside of you, but your spirit is safe in Me.”
My sister, in life, we all experience storms, and the more we look out at the chaos and hear the strong winds, the more afraid we can become. But God wants us to know, the storms in our lives are on the outside of us, but our spirit man is safe in Him. No matter how it looks, He is still good, and He is still in full control! The Lord is our refuge, our strong tower, and we are safe! Focus on His truth instead of the storm, and you will experience His supernatural peace. He is right there, and He will calm you in the midst of your storm.
Prayer: I praise you, Lord because I am safe in you! I praise you because you are my rock, my refuge, and my hiding place. No matter what is going on outside of me, there’s a place within me that the storm can’t reach. Thank you for the peace your truth brings to me, Father. I will trust you as we ride out the storms of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Yes, Lord you are my refuge, and my fortress, you hide me through the many storms that life deals, I know in this life there will be many storms many heartaches but if I .continue to focus on You Father, I have nothing to fear. You said there would be storms but the hiding place I have in You I can run to and be safe for the word is true the storms have to subside Thank You for being my strong tower. I Love You Lord.

Glory to God there is a place in me in my heart that the storm cannot reach God I think you I thank you for Jesus my protector. In the midst of all the storms and trails and tribulations of life you are in my heart forever father God, my God, Jehovah my peace my love comes from you, father God, in a name of Jesus Christ. I’m covered in the blood in those storms outside of my life glory to God in the mighty name of Jesus, Christ, help your people, father in the blood of Jesus help us all in the mighty name of Jesus.
