My sister, keep choosing life.

“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess” Deuteronomy 30:15-16, NKJV.

There are many decisions in life that can be made for us, but when it comes to certain decisions, we are on our own. The decision to make Jesus our personal Savior and Lord is something no one can decide for us. People could pray for us and encourage us all day, but they can’t choose life for us. In the same way, the decision to let go of the past and move forward, or the decision to take the leap and do what God has placed within us to do, is ours alone.

The fact that we are seeing so much evil in the world today is a result of the choices people are making. And while you can’t do anything about their choices, you can certainly do something about yours. Every time you choose God’s way of handling a situation vs your way, you are choosing life. Every time you accept the challenge the Holy Spirit gives you, you are choosing life. Don’t worry about whether you will finish strong and fulfill God’s purpose and plan. Just keep on taking one step of faith at a time, one obedient act at a time, and one day at a time. Keep choosing life.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking directly to my heart. Help me to continue to choose life, continue to choose you, your way, your truth, and your plan. Help me Lord. I know no one can make these life decisions for me. It’s up to me to choose you, and then continue to choose you until I’m standing before you face to face. Thank you for your strength. Today, I choose life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  6. I decided to look for a devotional I can read on my tablet. I choose this app, and the devotion and this scripture was exactly what God had for me, today!
“the decision to let go of the past and move forward, or the decision to take the leap and do what God has placed within us to do, is ours alone.”

God put a calling on my life at 17. It started stirring again a couple of months ago. I’ve made some foward movement, but now it’s time to take the leap and do what God has placed within me to do!

Oh, Jesus make the path clear!

  7. I just read something that talked showed me how evil the world can be. I was feeling very down after reading it. I wanted to see if you had posted anything that could help me, and this was absolutely perfect. I started to cry because of how perfectly this hit me. I ended by saying the first line of the prayer over and over. Thank you for letting God speak through you to me.

  8. Next 21 day Spiritual growth challenge

Just sending this to everyone to challenge them to deepen their relationship with God in some way. Doesn’t have to be just food, but it can be choosing to open your Bible instead of social media…Or choosing to listen to worship music or some form of listening to positive or inspirational stuff only…Or choosing to spend uninterrupted silent time in God’s presence allowing only Him to speak and minister to you. Whatever is placed on your heart! If you don’t do this that is ok!!! I pray if it’s placed on your heart, challenge someone else to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ! Regardless, I pray God MOVES like never before in your life. There are many 21 day plans in the Bible app if you don’t know where to start ❤️. https://www.bible.com/en/reading-plans/14085

  10. Dear Sisters

i cannot tell you enough i needed to see this today, for little did you know last night i was in the very darkest space contemplating my life after a very difficult few months in my life . but got down on my knees and began to pray all night crying and Jesus met me again i saw this and began to cry thank you sweet Jesus your still here with me and i am not alone i choose life i choose to keep going and walk your path xx i feeling like dawn is just around the corner for me now please lovely sisters pray for me

  11. Thank you for this and thank you for a sweet daughter of our Lord who forwarded this to me today…just wish I read it first thing in the morning…may have prevented a huge fight with my husband and hours of heartache…but I choose “the Way, the Truth, the Life.” I choose Jesus as my Lord, the One I need to listen to and follow, and my Savior, the One and only who can save me from the Evil one and allow me to long for the day of His infinite peace, presence, joy and love. I pray my children and even my husband that is so emotionally distant from me will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior too. But all is in His hands, and what I need to do is simply listen for His spirit to direct my spirit each day—especially in those moments that trigger my sinful nature to automatically kick in. Thank you Lord for not giving up on me.
