Our Daily Affirmation

My sister, I encourage you to read this out loud and it will bless you and bring you into focus today.

I am who God says I am.

Who does God say I am? I am a daughter of the King and He is my heavenly Father. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am saved and called with a holy calling, not according to anything I’ve done or haven’t done, but according to God’s own purpose and grace which He gave me in Christ Jesus before the world began. I am God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which He planned beforehand that I will walk in. I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and a holy nation. I am redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. I am bought with a great price. I am accepted into the family of my Father. I am loved unconditionally by Him. I am covered with the favor of God as with a shield. I am in the palm of His hands and no one can pluck me out. I am His, and He is mine. Who I am in Christ doesn’t change with how I feel. Who I am in Him doesn’t change with outward circumstances. I am who God says I am.

I have what God says I have.

What does God say I have? I have a covenant relationship with God through Jesus. I have peace with God through Jesus. I have access to God by the blood of Jesus. I have spiritual power and authority given to me by God. I have the mind of Christ. I have the Holy Spirit (my Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby) dwelling with me and living in me. I have both natural and spiritual gifts given to me by God. I have the love of God shed abroad on my heart by the Holy Spirit given to me. I have the truth of God’s Word in my heart. I have my name written in the Lamb’s book of Life. I have a promise from God that He will never leave me or abandon me. I have the entire heavenly host guarding me and strengthening me. I have a purpose. I have a bright future in Christ. What I have in Him doesn’t change with how I feel. What I have in Him doesn’t change with outward circumstances. I have what God says I have.

I can do what God says I can do.

What does God’s Word say I can do? I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I can go boldly to the throne of grace 24/7 and obtain mercy and find grace to help me in my time of need. I can do the works of Jesus, even greater works, because He went to the Father. I can share with others my testimony of how God saved me and is transforming my life. I can lay hands on the sick and they will recover. I can be still and know that He is God. I can call things that be not as though they are. I can hear the voice of God. I can receive wisdom and instruction from His Word. With His help, I can run through a troop. With His help, I can leap over a wall. I can guard my heart and set healthy boundaries. I can trust Him to take care of me. What I can do in Him doesn’t change with how I feel. What I can do in Him doesn’t change with outward circumstances. I can do what God says I can do.

  1. I don’t normally comment but your Devotionals are something I look forward to daily. They have greatly blessed me and God has spoken directly to me through many of them concerning my life and current situation. Thank you for being a obedient servant of our loving Father

  2. Sister Keshia I love your affirmations but please look at the one that says – I can call things that be not as though they are.. I posted this response when you shared these affirmations before and I’m doing it again…edited.

Romans 4:17, does this verse really say to us that we can call things into being that never was?? I thought only God can do that! Creation being reserved for the Creator. And it seems to me that that verse is referring to God as the One who quickens the dead and call things into being… not Abraham. Even if God performs a miracle at our request, which He says in His Word that He give His disciples and followers the power to do,  He is the one that existed before anything else, so we are not calling anything into existence that He didn’t already create. We are just tools through which His miraculous power is manifested… We are NOT the ones who bring things that never existed into existence. My concern is that a subtle flaw like this, [where the enemy as he usually does, tries to get created beings to believe that we are gods just like he believes], can make us think that we can be like God in every way and do the works that ONLY God can do as the One Only Creator.

Have a blessed day my beautiful sisters in Christ.

    1. I believe she may be talking about faith. Not necessarily speaking things into existence like you said only the Lord has the ability to do that.

    2. My sister, thank you for your comment. I believe there’s been a misunderstanding. Let me clarify, in the context of the scripture Romans 4:17, God had given Abraham a promise and although Abraham couldn’t see that promise with his natural eyes, the promise of God was what became his reality because he believed in what God had already said. God called what was not, what was. We are not called to speak things into existence that God hasn’t promised us to begin with. We are to say what He says. Sometimes what we see do not look like what God promised us in His word. So we are to receive His promise by faith and speak what He says until we see it manifested in our lives. I hope that brings some clarity. Love and blessings!

      1. Thank You so much for the clarification. While misinterpretations
are inevitable in reading or writing and while we should read under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, these responses are a good way to offer clarity when a question arises; chances are other people may silently have questions too or go on believing that this is what the Bible means, especially with so many other types of affirmations circulating the media that have truth mixed with error.

Lord, may we read Your Word under the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

So thank you again DOTK for responding. God bless.❤

  5. Thank you for this devotional today. I needed it now more than ever. Please pray foe me as I am really struggling and fell back into something God had delivered me from and this left a wide door of attack on me and my life. I have repented and renounced it and asked for forgiveness. We are needing a financial breakthrough also in our lives as I have been on temporary long term disability since Dec of 2021 due to accident/injury.
