One meaning of “praise” is to shine; to make a show; to boast; to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; and to celebrate. The Bible says, “Let everything that has breath praise (shine, make a show, boast, be clamorously foolish, rave, and celebrate) the Lord!”
I love my husband. He loves to praise God. He has no problem praising, running, jumping, shouting and leaping. When he dances for the Lord, instead of standing at a distance feeling embarrassed, I jump right in with him. He looks like he’s doing the funky chicken and I look like I’m killing bugs on the floor, but we don’t care. We love to praise God and be clamorously foolish! We have discovered the power of praise!
I remember one time we had a new home with no furniture. Instead of murmuring and complaining, we called our four young children into our empty living room, and explained that we were going to praise God as a family. So we shouted, lifted our voices and praised God with everything we had. It was awesome! Two weeks later, our living room was full of quality furniture that we didn’t have to pay a lot for.
God honors us when we honor Him. He loves the sound of our voices. He loves the sound of our steps on the floor and the clap of our hands. He lives in our praises. You don’t need any music to praise Him, you can praise Him right where you are! Just lift your hands and praise the Lord! Shout “Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! Glory to God!”
Prayer: Father God, You are my God and I praise You now. You are good and worthy of my praise. You are my Savior and an awesome Father to me. Thank You Lord! I know You have my life in Your hands, so I praise You! Let me be a walking celebration for You! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Wen I waz a teenager, me&my cousin’s used to drive an hour&1/2 to attend this church. It waz like nothing we ever saw b4.Everybody waz doin somthin wild🙃🤤But it waz just contagious…I never felt the Lord’s presents like that b4& we just cudn’t get enough❤…We were from the top of the mountain and went to a very reserved Babtist Church.{I’m not against our church}It waz great, But we snuck to that church💒 as much as we CUD, It waz AWESOME💖🤗🔥💣💥❣
