Reinforcements are coming!

“Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident…I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Pslams 27:1-3, 13-14

Yesterday in prayer, watching a church service while getting ready for church, I felt the Lord lay on my heart that reinforcements were coming.

In the movie, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe,” Aslan, the lion, sacrifices himself, who is innocent, for one of the children who has done something wrong. He’s dead and the children have to go into battle against the witch. The witches army is far bigger than the children’s, and they feel this in the heat of the battle. Just as they start to feel defeated, the lion shows up, resurrected to fight for them! But not only does he show up, he brings reinforcements with him and they are able to win the battle.

This morning, I saw a vision of fighters on horses, armored up, being dispatched into cities on the earth. I felt the Lord say, “Do you hear the sound of the hoofprints? Do you hear the clanking of swords?” The reinforcements are coming! You may have felt like this battle would take you all the way out, but your God who is fighting for you is an invincible army! He is MIGHTY to save! Be encouraged that Abba has got your back, and it may look like you’re surrounded, but really, you are surrounded by an army who cannot and will never be defeated!

Prayer: Father, thank you for not leaving me abandoned to fight alone! Thank you that your army is fighting for me, and you will never be defeated, and you have never lost a battle. Let me hear the sound of the reinforcements you are sending to fight on my behalf; let me lay hold of every promise that has been bound up in the battle. I trust that you’ve already won for me, and TODAY, I know that the reinforcements are coming! In Jesus MIGHTY name, Amen!

  2. Amen!!! Reinforcements Are Coming!!! It’s Finished! The Battle Is Already Won! There’s an army rising up, and I hear the chains falling. I can’t remember the whole song by Tasha Cobb- Leonard. But, this devotional reminds me of it and I can hear it which my confidence is in The Lord. Knowing that the good work that He have started, He will bring it to completion to perform it in my life that will bring Him Glory. Everything has to point back to Him, so daily I’m putting on the “Whole Armor of God” to stand. Knowing I’m not alone!!!🛐🛐🛐❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌
