Stand Your Ground

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12, NKJV.

In the midst of this world there will always be trials, tests, and tribulation. This life is a constant spiritual warfare. So how do we handle it? It is most important to know that we are never alone in these matters. The enemy will stop at nothing to try to destroy us. The Lord desires for us to not only know His truth, but to live that truth out in Him. As children of the Most High God, we have promises that we can stand on. When life takes its toll and just wears us out, we need to know deep down in our hearts that the problems we face have no real authority over us. We must speak life into our seemingly “dead” situations. The Word of God is living and is alive in us. We must call on the authority that has been given to us in Christ Jesus. As we speak His Word with courage and faith, the Holy Spirit is able to move on our behalf, and the devil has no choice but to flee. Jesus has given us power and authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy (see Luke 10:19). He says that the Kingdom of God is within us (see Luke 17:21). He has given us His Armor to withstand the enemy (see Ephesians 6:13). His covering is upon us. Like a tiger and her cubs, our Father will never allow us to be defeated. He is our Protector, Defender, Restorer, and Strength. Today, I want you to stand your ground in not only who you are in Christ Jesus, but Whose you are. You are His.

Speak these words out loud:

“I stand today on the firm foundation that was laid down for me—the foundation of Christ Jesus. These words are not just words; they are life and power when spoken. I will not fear what man can say or do to me because the ONE, who chose me rules over everything. NOTHING can separate me from my Father in Heaven. I declare Freedom this year in the mighty name of Jesus. I declare Freedom for my family and all areas of my life. Devil, I command you to leave in Jesus’ name. You can no longer have a say so concerning me. Today, I take authority and possession of what has already been bought and paid for by the precious blood of Jesus. I decree and proclaim blessings and not curses from this day forward. I am more than a conqueror in Jesus’ name.”

(Joshua 1:5, Romans 8:28, Romans 8:31, Romans 8:37)

    1. Brie Armstead,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I pray that you will continue to hold onto your Strength as you grieve. I pray that the strength of Jesus in your heart will relieve the fears of letting go and feeling those emotions that we, as humans, don’t want to open the door of our hearts to. Loss goes deep, and loss like this, is so very life-changing. I pray that God’s gives you a new outlook and a new and rejuvenated heart to face the difficult days ahead. Yes, you will conquer all negativities, doubt, confusion, and anxiety in the Name of Jesus! I declare this over you in the Name of Jesus. I speak comfort and rest over you. I speak peace and trust in the Lord over you in the Name of Jesus. You will find comfort and rest in the embrace of your Father. Receive it, I pray in the Name of Jesus, sister Brie, and let him hug you tightly. I pray that you will be able to fully grieve and completely surrender your hurting heart to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and find rest in His lap of love. God bless you, Brie, from the inside out. Such a deep loss to be felt. I am sorry, again, for your deep pain. Loss is difficult, but we can move forward in His Light, and hold His Hand while we do! He will help you! He will hold you! He will never leave you! He will never forsake you! He will hear your every cry, and He shall plant joy in your heart to carry you in the Name of Jesus! He sees you and knows your every tear. He will bless you and keep you, and hold your hurting heart near to His, for He is close to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit.
I pray that our Father not only comforts you greatly in your loss, but that you will feel a very real sense of intimacy with God at this time in your life as you press into Him. I pray that He will bring you full circle to a moment of pure elation in the realization of Who He is, and that HE is the Mighty Comforter! His Comfort is fierce. It truly is. God bless you, sister Brie, today and always. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.
