“Remain in Me, and I will remain in you…” John 15:4
Before you were anything to anyone, you were My daughter. Before you were his wife, their mother, their leader, or their daughter or sister, you were My daughter. I want you to stay right there where it’s just you and Me. Stay there where I am the one caring for you, tending to you and loving on you. Before you entered this world, it was just you and Me. And when you die, it will be just you and Me. Even now, in the Spirit, it’s just you and Me. Father and daughter. You can have a million people to lead, a thousand responsibilities to tend to, and a family to care for, but you have only one expectation from Me, and that is to remain in Me and I in you. I will minister sweet rest to your soul, and give you peace that far surpasses anything your mind can comprehend. I will help you remember the time in your life when it was just the two of us. I will take you back to the time when you enjoyed a simple life without so many cares. And you will remain there in your heart where it’s just the two of us. You won’t abandon your responsibilities, you will tend to them with Me. You won’t run from your problems, you will face them with Me. You won’t live weighed down with other people’s worries and concerns, you will help point them to Me. This is how you live with Me. This is how you abide in Me and let My words abide in you. From that place, ask for whatever your hearts desire and it will be done for you. I will perform miracle after miracle for you, My daughter. The only thing I want you to do is stay right there in that place in your heart where it’s just the two of us. Stay right there.

This is the sweetest love letter from the Lord! I will stay right there, and want just to be with You. Thank You for wanting to be with me as others seem to not like me anymore but I have You and You are all I need. I will love them anyway but my eyes are in You that my actions are pure and holy.

Thank you so much Eileen K. It means a lot🤗. Today I have plans to move from my home of 21 years and lived in this area 31 years to go back to my home state…by myself since my husband of 27 years passed away this spring…and my mom is really in ill health too. There’s a lot more going on but I try to keep the vision of Jesus walking on top of those waves and know that while it seems turbulent to me, he is on top of all my situations too.
My start in life came about because of His blessings…doctors were concerned Mom would lose me as an unborn baby before she could come to term…I’ve had other life threatening complications come up that He brought me through but loosing my husband because of cancer was like a losing my breath-gut punch and praise God it’s slowly healing and I know moving will help but saying goodbye to these dreams is hard. But God’s love is stronger and I feel that around me. So thank you for standing with me! God bless you! Jennie

I appreciate Re-reading this devotional …or love letter. It’s words are so needed, I wrote the Bible verses and will pray over them. It is also encouraging to read these other responses to this love letter and so comforting to know others feel His love too and to see how other daughters are benefiting from this. I don’t know if I am explaining my heart clearly enough but this helps me feel not so much alone. Thank You Lord for being so warm, caring and loving in this letter and Thank you DoTK community for being so candid…the power of God is in this place!

This devotional brings tears to my eyes because of how much love and care is in it. I talk to Abba everyday as if He’s right there in the room and this week I’ve been sensing the enemy trying to distract me from him. But I’ve been giving it my all to draw closer.
