I remember years ago while on a getaway with my husband, celebrating our wedding anniversary, I became very sick. I could barely stand, had chills all over my body, and no desire to eat. While laying there in bed, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Get up!” I heard His voice loud and clear. He said, “It’s your anniversary and you’re not about to spend it in the bed sick. Get up!” As soon as I heard those words, by faith I got out of the bed and began pacing the floor, declaring I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. As I paced the floor, God’s healing power touched me and my body became healed and I was strengthened by God’s supernatural power! My husband walked in the room and said, “Praise God!”
Praise God for His resurrection power! Praise God that He can take our sickly bodies and give it life! Praise God the power of His Word can raise up anything and anyone. God will raise you up and cause you to live. He will cause you to walk in newness of life. God is breathing His life on you, my sister, and moving mightily within you. By faith, you will rise. Rejoice today in the resurrection power of your God!
Prayer: Father God, I thank you that are my God and I am yours. Thank you for raising me up by your resurrection power. I receive your healing power, your restoring power, your delivering power and all that you are. I receive every word you’ve spoken over me. Thank you that I walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
