“But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him” Hebrews 11:6, Amplified.
In the world today, we are mostly in a hurry. We are busy people, constantly pursuing, attaining, and launching. We accomplish one feat and then we are on to the next one with no time set apart to process what God just did or to receive clear instructions from Him. We become like Joshua at the Battle of Ai. After God delivered the city of Jericho into his hands in grand style, he assumed the city of Ai would be no different. He didn’t seek God for His plan or His instructions and was chased down the mountain by the men he and his army went in to defeat—their hearts melting like water. After the public humiliation, he cried out to God and He gave Him instructions and the victory.
The secret to success in God is in our constantly seeking Him. He tells us that when we diligently seek Him, we shall be rewarded. Our reward is victory. Our reward is Him being glorified in our lives. So let’s slow down my sister. Do we want busy or do we want effective? Do we want to constantly try our own methods, or do we want a sweatless anointing that glorifies God? I believe, if you’re like me, you want effectiveness. You want God to be glorified in everything you set out to do by His grace. You want total victory. You want to please Him and the only thing that pleases Him is our faith, which comes by hearing what He wants you to do and doing it—nothing more, nothing less.
Prayer: Yes, Father, I hear you loud and clear. I love doing what you’ve called me to do, but help me to slow down and receive instructions from you. Help me to do nothing in my own ability. I am desperately and hopelessly dependent upon you. I want effectiveness, not busy. I want victory and for you to be glorified. Help me to consistently seek you and not lean to my own understanding. Thank you for this precious blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for this course direction God. I need to do better on seeking you in waiting for your words on what to do.. this is the hardest season I’ve ever been in God, but at the same time, I’m growing closer to you and learning more about you than I ever have before and I want to keep on growing and learning.
You have a lot invested in me and that gives me encouragement to keep going. I am determined to not look at my circumstances and keep my eyes on you in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
This morning, I shared a testimony of how I failed at something that in the past I have done so well. I was publicly humiliated. The testimony is that God revealed to me that I failed because I did not fully rely on Him. Since, I had done well times before, I thought I got this in the bag! Well, I missed the whole bag! The second time around, I relied on God and I did so much better.
Just now, as I walked into my classroom to have lunch, the Lord said busy will cause you to be ineffective. Seeking me in all you do will cause you to be productive. After sitting down at my desk, this devotional pops up on my screen, I open it and the Lord confirms what He spoke to me as I read it. Holy Spirit never ceases to awe me. Thank you for your obedience. When God’s Word that He speaks in our hearts is confirmed in beautiful ways such as this it is so impactful, it increases our love for Him, our revelation of what He is saying and our faith.
Thank you so much for being led by the Holy Spirit and obeying His leading to write devotionals and do videos that be so on point and are life changing! Love you!

Amen! Yes Lord I hear you. Yes I Love doing what you called me to do. I get joy from serving you Lord.
Thank you in advance for helping me do everything you would have me to do. I will continue to listen for your guidance and instructions. As always I desperately and hopelessly depend on only you Lord. Make everything I do for you be effective. I want effectiveness too. I want to victory for the body of Jesus Christ, and for you to be Glorified. Help me to continue to consistently seek you and obey your commands and will only.
