“But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on meβand not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace” 1 Corinthians 15:10, New Living Translation.
God’s grace rests upon you, my sister. It’s His special favor and kindness. You are able to be completely not there yet, not perfect by any means, and not the greatest at what He’s called you to do, and yet His special favor rests upon you and causes you to produce fruit. Can you just hear the screams from the kingdom of darkness, “It’s not fair!” And it is not, but God’s favor is never fair. He chooses the foolish and weak things of the world to boggle the mind of the mighty and the wise. I sure know that’s what He’s done with me. I’m the least person anyone would have expected to be where He’s called me but God chose me to bear fruit for Him and bring Him glory. It’s not because I can write so well, preach so powerfully or carry a nice tune. It’s because of His grace, His special favor upon my life and so it is with you. God doesn’t have to worry about us getting lifted up in pride, ever, because we know it wasn’t us who did anything to deserve any of it. His love, His presence, His truth and His power has made the biggest difference and it will continue to be what makes the difference.
What a great King we serve who would come down from heaven to earth and become poor so we could be made rich in Him. To have Him seat us with Him, anoint our heads, shine His face on us and bless us as His daughters, even with all of the shortcomings we’re still working through, it’s enough to make a woman fall to her knees in tears of worship to God and say like Paul, “Whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on meβand not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.”
Prayer: Father God, you are amazing. I’m so blessed to know you and be a recipient of everything you have loaded me with. Thank you. Don’t ever let me think I got myself here. Don’t ever let me think too highly of myself. Give me the lowly mind of Jesus. The teachable mind of Christ. It’s because of your grace and your special kindness that I am what I am and where I am. Period. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As I read this devotional it reminds me that the Lord restoration is still available for me. I may be broken and my life maybe torn apart but through the Grace of God I still here, standing and trusting all things will work out for my good. If the Lord did it for you and others, He can do it for me. He is no respecter of person. Thank you for sharing. Blessings, Shalom and Agape πππ½β₯οΈπππ½

Yes, yes, yes, it is only His grace, and it does make me want to fall to my knees. Yesterday, I was cooking in the kitchen and was about ready to fall to my knees just thinking of His grace and favor. Without Him, I am nothing and can do nothing.
