“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” Proverbs 3:5-6
God recently strengthened me to walk through one of the most difficult trials I have experienced in my life to date. Right in the middle of it, God reminded me of the importance of trusting Him. Not lip service trust, but the trust that requires transferring the full weight of our faith onto the creator of all things. God spoke something to me that will forever remain in my heart.
“Daughter, the invitation to trust Me with all that you are, is not only because I am trustworthy. It is also because tremendous trust in Me will protect you from an immeasurable depth of despair.”
We cannot do God’s part, and He won’t do our part. Let us be remember to do our part and trust God to do His. I’m telling you from personal experience, He will not fail!
Prayer: Father God, we thank you for being a good Father and taking care of us. I pray that you continue to strengthen us to remember that even when the situation may be painful, you promise that it will work for our good. Thank you for the protection we gain when we fully trust you in all things. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your strength. We love you and we’re so grateful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father,
I trust you I thank you for being my father, my strength, and my guide that when I’m feeling low and doubtful you are their to reassure me that I don’t have to lean on my own understanding, even when I lost my son and felt that I was all alone I had to remember this was in your plan not mine Thank you for the reminder to not lean on my own understanding. In Jesus’ name and for His sake

For 59 1/2 years God you’ve been guiding me and protecting me…before I knew You, when I knew You, when I was distant, when I was lost in illness of my own or of my husband and even now in the grief that tries to pull me down, You are walking all over it and helping me through it. You brought me through so much, little and big things and I declare You will do it again and again according to your plan for my life to bring about your will You are my Good good father and I trust you!
I know you brought me back home to mom and dad’s and I know you will help me find my own house. Thank you for being my good shepherd !

Thank you for this timely devotional. I am going through various daunting situations that requires me to walk by faith and not by sight. I have no one to honestly trust but, the Lord.
