We will stay hungry for God.

β€œBlessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied” Matthew 5:6, Amplified Bible.

In this hour, the Lord is blessing His people with an increase in appetite. Like newborn babies desiring milk and like children wanting to be around their father 24/7. We are wanting the sincere milk of the word of God and desiring to be in the presence of the Lord 24/7, receiving His wisdom and hungry to learn and grow in Him. Instead of being drunk with cares, and with the world news, we’re desiring to be drunk with the Holy Spirit instead, feeding our inner man.

Gone are the days of relying solely on men and women of God for spiritual nourishment. We are learning how to go to God’s word for ourselves and go into our prayer closet, shut the door and receive all of the wisdom and strength, all of the mercy and grace we need. We are laying down our lives and picking up our cross.

In this time of great spiritual hunger, we will see great spiritual growth like we have never seen before. In life, we are either teaching or we are learning. As God reveals to you His mind on matters, share it with others. And as you see yourself lacking understanding in areas, go and get the understanding you need from God’s word. No matter how dark it’s getting out there, it will get brighter in your life as God shows you great and mighty things you’ve never known!

We will stay hungry for Him, my sister. The time of Azuza street will pale in comparison to how He moves in this hour and shows up for His people. Are you ready? I know I am! Glory to God!

Let’s Pray! Father, we love you and are deeply hungry and thirsty for you. You called us blessed when we hunger and thirst for you and we receive your blessing of a complete infilling of your Spirit, your wisdom, and your way. We are hungry for you and ready to come and eat! We are ready to see more come into your kingdom and more lives changed. We want to be used by you to make that happen! Be glorified in the earth and be glorified in your people. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” 1 Peter 2:1-3
