“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7
My sister, be reminded of this truth today. You are a spirit, you possess a soul (mind, will and emotions), and you live in a body. The body you have is not who you are. The thoughts and feelings you experience are not who you are. You are spirit, and in your spirit is where Christ lives, rules, and abides. Your spirit has been made new through the transformative power of Jesus Christ. The Lord rules and reigns over your spirit and He has called you to rule and reign over your mind and body by His grace and power.
Let’s pray! Father, thank you for your wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I am who you said I am, I have what you said I have, and I can do what you said I can do. Father, everything you have said about me is true. Cause my mind and body to come into full alignment with the truth of your Word. You are my righteous King reigning in authority over me and you help me reign in life through Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
