“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving” Colossians 2:6-7, NKJV.
Deep down there are things that we know, that we know to be true. Deep down we know there is a God and that He loves us. Deep down we know that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Deep down we know that He has chosen us for His divine purposes and plans. Deep down we know that we are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus and have been made new. This is what being rooted and grounded means—holding on with everything we have to what we know deep down.
Even though we are rooted and grounded in our knowledge of the Lord, the enemy stops at nothing to try to uproot us. He quickly finds, however, that it is not an easy task because no matter what he tries to do, all that matters is what Jesus has already done on the cross!
Declare this from your heart today: “I will not uproot and I will not give up! I will hold on and become even more rooted and grounded, and fully convinced of the Father’s love. I will let His Word permeate my heart and soul to the very core of who I am. The enemy will not be able to win in my life. Through Jesus Christ, I am victorious! I am an overcomer! I am a champion! My Father is greater than anything I will ever face in this life and with His help I can do all things!”
(Read Ephesians 3:17)

In the midst of everything that’s gone on 2020 is still my year of God’s favor and Grace, I refuse to be moved out of this place. I am grounded and rooted, steadfast and unmovable. In spite of it all, God is still God.
Please pray for me! I want to die to self and allow the Grace and love of Jesus Christ, “to reign in my mortal body”! May the Lord live and dwell in this vessel, with an outpouring of agape love toward others!
