You are God’s masterpiece.

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.” Psalms 139:14, Berean Study Bible.

What do you do with a painting? You admire it from a distance, and if you really love it, you come closer to see the intricate details created by the artist. You’re so close you can almost touch the painting with your nose. You aren’t looking for what’s wrong; you’re appreciating everything that’s right about it.

When it comes to relationships and people who care about you, you don’t have to fear them coming close to you. Maybe God has placed a special someone in your life, and they have admired you from a distance. Now, the relationship is deepening, and they want to get to know you better and come closer, not to see everything that’s wrong, but to appreciate what God has made right.

My sister, you are God’s masterpiece. You are fearfully and wonderfully made whether someone is standing at a distance or is up close. Who you are doesn’t change with proximity. Even with all of the areas God is still working on in you, you are a beautiful work of art in God’s hands, and you have nothing to fear.

Say this out loud from your heart: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and I have nothing to fear in letting someone get close to me. I’m God’s work of art. Whether someone is at a distance or up close, I am beautiful.”

    1. Sis Kisha,

I am not the type to ever leave comments, but this devotional is so on time and on point. I truly appreciate your writings. I appreciate you for being an ear and in turn a mouthpiece of the Lord morning after morning. I don’t have all the words to say on how much today’s devotional blessed me, but I am thanking God for you this morning!

  2. Thank you, I really needed to hear that. I have not gotten close to too many people, often choosing this because I was afraid someone would see the real me. I am finding myself lonely and needing girlfriends. God keeps nudging me toward real relationships with other believing women.
I am grateful for his word through you!
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones!
    Love your Sister in Christ,
    Sharla Berger

  5. Good morning, these past couple of weeks I have been so lost. I am a stay at home mother of two babies. Their father is the provider. Our relationship has ended as of this morning. I am now left with no car, money, job and at this point maybe no home either. These Devotionals have been pulling me through. This morning I told my mom I was worthless and then I get this notification saying I’m a masterpiece. Thank you for being Gods voice in my time of need. God bless you and happy thanksgiving❤️

    1. Hi Reina, I’m so sorry to hear what you and your family are going through. Isaiah 26:3 came to mind for you. You will keep him in perfect peace because he trusts in You. I have that Scripture on my wall in my home office. That Scripture always helps me when I’m in times of uncertainty. I’ve been without a car or a driver’s license, I’ve been out of work and on disability, and I’ve been in a situation where I’ve had to borrow money just to pay bills and put gas in my car. But God has always provided for me, and He’s never let me starve or have to leave my home. Trust His provision during this time. Your circumstances may change, but God remains the same. God bless you sister🙏❤

  9. Good morning Kesha,
I really don have a true Christian friend as we have a small church and in that church I am very involved in many ministries. I miss many services and when in hospitality, I tend to hide in the kitchen especially when life isn’t going so well. I have always had a hard time thinking of myself as beautiful and have been pushing myself to read and speak out loud who I am in Christ until I believe it myself. Your devotion just gave me a reminder of who I am and I thank you for that. My true friend is Jesus and I need to go to Him anytime, anywhere and He listens. Thank you for the reminder of who I am.

  10. Everyday is a thanksgiving to the father son holyspirit thank for your word. I read it every morning before i start my it refreshing my mind and soul thank you in jesus name🙏

  11. appreciate your hard work on inspiring others to Christ. I am only in high school and I can’t find any Christian friends some times I feel like they’re hiding some where. And I get discouraged because I think no one likes me, I’m weird, I’m ugly but sometimes forget that I’m speaking about God’s creation and he does not make mistakes. So thanks for reminding me that that I am his masterpiece.❤❤❤

    1. Hi Angelica, I don’t know you but I, too was the awkward girl when I was in high school. I had no friends, and I was bullied. I was extremely socially awkward, and I had some mild learning differences. That was a really dark time for me, but God pulled me through it and reminded me that He uses what the world throws away. Don’t be discouraged. This might not be your time to have friends. If you have a high calling on your life, then your friends will be few and far between. I have very few friends, but I’m thankful for the few I have. If you have five women in your life that you can talk to, then you’re blessed. Prayers lifted up🙏❤

  12. I am fearfully & wonderfully made, l am God’s work of art, l am d real copy, no duplicate, am bless.
    God bless DOTK family.
