You are Redeemed

“Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” 1 Peter 1:18-19, NKJV.

To be redeemed means you are purchased back to God through the precious blood of Jesus. It means you no longer belong to Satan’s camp, forced to be his slave. You now belong to God and you are free from all bondage and captivity through Jesus.

However, when we don’t understand what it means to be redeemed, we will think God’s rich promises don’t apply to us. When we don’t understand what it means to be redeemed, we think we’ll always struggle with that sin problem and there’s no hope. We feel like we will never win and will never overcome. But the Bible richly declares, we have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son (see Colossians 1:13). To be translated is to be carried away, once and for all, never to return. You are in God’s camp now and there is nothing the devil can do about it! He can’t pull you back in. He can’t pluck you out of God’s hand. He has lost all rights and privileges to dominate over your life.

My sister, understand what it means to be redeemed and you will receive power like you’ve never experienced before. It will give you boldness as a believer. Because anytime the devil raises his ugly head in your life, you’ll know you don’t belong to him and he has no right to you anymore. You are in God’s kingdom now and what a blessing that is!

Prayer: Father God, Thank you for redeeming me. Thank you that I no longer belong to the devil. He is not my master anymore. You are. I’m not enslaved to sin anymore, I’m your daughter and I serve you. I ask that you teach me Lord more of what it means to be redeemed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Ok but ppl still have problems. Prosperity theology is satanic lies, it says blessed Christians don’t suffer and get rich financially. This is not Biblical. Too many Christians believe this. Some even believe that poor Christians must be sinners since they aren’t “vmbkessed” with financial wealth. Capitalists are destroying the planet and only create wealth from failing to pay workers the full value they create from their labor. So we may be redeemed but we can still suffer. Sorry to be negative but always saying things are improving and going to be awesome, I don’t know if this is truth. Sorry. It feels nice but it might be delusional. Hopefully I’m just confused/misunderstanding.

    1. John 16:33
      King James Version
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

    2. Your whole perspective is off.
God said that trials and tribulations are sure to come in this “Fallen World “.
But the “Good News ” is that Christ is coming back to gather us up unto Himself. Therefore, our latter days will be better than our former days, THE BEST IS YET TO COME❣️

  2. When we give our lives to God the enemy is going to come after you harder but the Bible says we are overcomers we must summit ourselves to Christ and resist the devil and he will flee

  3. When we belong to God, the things of the world or what the world deems priority, all the “stuff, new cars every year, a mansion, etc” no longer are important. No God does not promise a life that is struggle free, we depend on God and that is His plan. It’s also so important to keep yourself within a family and church of believers…your support group, so that when you need help, they are there for you. God does not fail us. Our prayers 🙏 do not land on deaf ears. Speak words of affirmation over your life, according to God’s word., ie: LORD, IN JEREMIAH 29, you word says, you only want good for us, Remind yourself daily that God us your Waymaker, your Provider, your Comforter, your Deliverer. Do not turn your back on God. Praying for you..

  6. Oh Father God in the name of Jesus Teach me O God what redeeming really means I am your daughter Father God And I need you to continue to guide me in the name of Jesus Hallelujah God glory 🙏🏾🙌🏾

  7. This has been a journey and thought pattern I no longer want or desire
Satan has lied to me long enough
Enough is enough whispering in my ear your Father will punish you
    you look bad
your to bad for his kingdom
    all lies
I seen God swoop in and show me His unfailing Love
    And
I have sinned against God it looked so bad for me the conviction in my heart was so bad as seeing God turning His face from me
And yet again He swoops in and shows me His unfailing Love
If I keep choosing to sin it’s the desires of my heart
He will give me over to
    but
this flesh is so powerful so connected to the world when you have lived in it forever, a half a century and now you want different
    But
God is showing me His Love
    He has for me
That no man can ever compete with and noNarcissist can mess with again
God please take my whole heart, kill this flesh and make me brand new in YOU
Keep me in prayer my sisters
thank you Kesha for your faithful heart ❤️
