“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-10
Coming out of an intense battle, we look around at all of the destruction and loss. We feel for our arms. Our legs. We feel our faces and around our bodies to make sure everything is still there. God told me to tell you, my sister, everything is still there. I know the massive weapon from the kingdom of darkness looked like it was going to completely take you out, but it didn’t prosper. God wouldn’t allow it. You are still here. You are still.
Here.
Oh, yes! God’s face still shines upon you. He still loves you with an everlasting love. That battle couldn’t have you. The fire couldn’t destroy you. The breakup couldn’t take you out. God’s hand has been on your life since the day you were born, and He is still holding you close to His side.
Go ahead and feel around. You still have it! His calling. His anointing. His grace. God’s purpose and plan for your life are still wonderfully intact. It doesn’t matter what the enemy has tried to do; all that matters is what Jesus already did for you over 2,000 years ago on the cross. The suffering you endure will only prove He truly does live within you.
Prayer: Hallelujah! Thank you, Father, the weapons of the enemy didn’t work. Thank you for shielding me. Father, your power was greater than anything the enemy can do. I am covered by the blood of Jesus, and your mighty hand is on my life. Thank you that no matter who or what I’ve lost along the way, I still have you and all of the spiritual blessings you’ve given me in Christ Jesus. I am still seated in heavenly places in Christ, and my name is still written in your Book of Life. Hallelujah! Amen!
