“I am the true vine…” John 15:1
In life, when the water is too deep to touch the bottom with our feet. When the current is moving fast, and we fear being swept away. We often can look for someone strong to hold on toβanything or anyone who appears stable. But God reminds us quickly in those times that He is the anchor of our soulβnot a person, not a relationship, not a thing, He is our True Vine. This truth is what keeps us and holds on to us tightly.
My sister, you will not be overcome by the deep waters, and you will not be swept away by strong emotions. You are being held by Someone much stronger. You don’t have to look around frantically for someone or something stable to keep you from drowning. Jesus has wrapped Himself around you and is holding on to you tightly. He is the true vine, He is your rock, and you are secure in Him and He is secure in you. Even with all of the emotions you feel, you are deeply anchored in Christ (see Hebrews 6:19).
Prayer: Lord, thank you for speaking to my heart. You are the anchor of my soul. You are my Lord, my vine, and I am in you and you are in me. You keep me from drowning and from being swept away, and I thank you. Help me, Lord, to not look to people or things to be my stability. Help me hold on to your truth and rest in your love. In Jesusβ name, Amen.

Yes, may the Lord hold my hand and guard, guide, protect, sustain and preserve my life as I go through these battles. Thank you. Blessings, Shalom and Agape πππ½β₯οΈπππ½
