You will soar together again.

One morning while staring out the window, I saw two birds flying together, then they separated only to come back together again. The motion was so smooth that it looked like a dance. Then I heard the Lord speak to my heart, “That is how it is with My children.”

You might think the relationship is over with your brother or sister in Christ, but you will soar together again either on this side of heaven or on the other side. No misunderstanding, fight, distance or even death is strong enough to break the bond we all have with one another through Christ. We are one family tightly knitted and joined together.

You may not be soaring with them at this moment, but you keep soaring, keep trusting in God, and keep praying for them from the heart. Up close, the separation is a struggle to deal with and is painful, but at a distance, God is making the motion look so smooth that the separation will look like it was part of the dance. Whether on this side of eternity or in heaven, my sister, the two of you, will soar together again.

Prayer: Father, thank you for how you speak to me and help me through the most difficult times in my life. Father, I miss my soaring buddy, but I place them in your hands. Help me continue to soar in you. Help them continue to soar too. I pray and trust that whether on this side of eternity or in heaven with you, we will soar together again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Wow this devo is right on time! I miss my sisters at Saving Grace and they taught me how To begin to soar. I can’t speak with any of them due to circumstances, however, God reads my letters to each of them and hears me laugh when I think of the great time we had. My mom holds me when I cry out and wanna so badly return to them and rescue, although, a few would say they don’t need rescuing. I miss you ladies. You taught me what friendship truly is. You accepted me as your sister and I am hopeful for the moment when we can soar together again.

    1. This was right on time, I have a sister who is recovering from cancer, and refuses for anyone to pray over her, I tried in so many ways to show her that Jesus loves her, even a little Toughlove in Jesus name and now she blocked me from her life with refusing my calls my text and I have nothing but compassion for her and love her. I pray daily that she allows God unto her heart.

      1. I am so thankful for this Devotion as it is where God has me right now with my four sisters. We are separated by many miles and a few states, but God! He is doing a deeper work in my heart as I seek Him! I’m walking our lake and am reminded of God’s Amazing Grace and Mercy and great Love! The Holy Spirit is our strength and comfort and guide! I am so grateful for his protection for my son and his co deputy’s and how God had helped them fight the good fight of faith and hold that thin blue line between anarchy and peace. During this season, I have enjoyed the monarch caterpillars and their transformation before our eyes! God is so faithful!

  2. Praise Jesus no matter where our hurts are He our Lord and Savior is with us. He plans on our victorys even when give up He is there. I love you Jesus. Amen

  3. Lord there are so many that I longer soar with.

As I try to see through the loneliness that I have, I trust You and know You would not leave or forsake me.

I ask for restoration and for Your rebuilding of healthy relationships to soar to higher heights and deeper depth in You. I look forward to You doing so, knowing what You put together no one can separate or break it apart.

With a thankful heart I say Hallelujah, Glory to Your name.

    Thanks again.

    Blessings, Peace, Shalom and Agape.

  6. I can’t even begin to explain how much this devotional means to me.
Last night I came to the very difficult decision to separate myself from my best friend of 20 years. We have been going to the same church our whole lives but things have started shifting in her heart towards the church and it’s becoming hostile towards my own relationship with God and so last night I cried thinking about separating myself from her only to wake up to this amazing confirmation from our Yeshua.
Thank you for hearing God and telling his daughters ❤️
    Love,
    Emma from Florida

  7. My husband and I are separated at this time. It’s painful, ugly and disappointing for many reasons. I pray and ask God to help me to continue to plant the right seeds even when I’m hurt! I pray that God restores what’s broken yet the work be done to do it right. This time making a priority of God being the center of our marriage & family. Whatever his will may be I pray that he gives me the heart to accept it. This devotional touched my heart today I will continue to soar while apart and pray I’ll have my soaring buddy back one day. ❤️
