Your story is complete in Christ!

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:10

One Sunday a pastor asked me, “Do you know the end of your story? The final chapter?” He saw this young woman trying desperately to pursue God’s calling on her life and struggling with fear and bondage. Then, he said, “You will know you’re ready when you can answer that question.”

I thought, “Of course I know the end of my story. I’m going to do this and I’m going to do that for God’s glory.” It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that God began to renew my mind. As I spent time with Him in His Word and in prayer, He began to teach me by His Spirit that the end of my story is victory, not because of me, but because of the finished work of Christ. I discovered that my story is already finished, and is already written by the ink of Christ’ blood. My entire life is complete in Him.

So it is with you, my sister.

Your story is finished because of the finished work of Christ. You don’t have to fear the unknown. You don’t have to wrestle in uncertainty. You can rest in knowing Jesus overcame death, hell and the grave and He defeated the works of Satan over 2,000 years ago on the cross. He purchased you with His precious blood, He redeemed your past and secured your future so that you can live out your present days in victory and in total freedom in Christ!

Let the Spirit of the Lord lead you through His Word and show you what He accomplished for you. Let Him remove all of the fear and uncertainty that you’ve been experiencing and make your life complete. The end of your story is victory because of Jesus, not because of you. Your story is complete in Christ! When you begin to wrap your heart and mind around this divine truth and receive understanding of the finished work of Christ, you are ready to walk in your purpose and fulfill your destiny by God’s grace and power!

Thank you for this and all your devotionals it’s amazing to me (no offense I mean I could never do it as I am xyz) it’s amazing how since 2011 that’s ten years of every single day blessing people uplifting every single day all that work no matter what it going thru. Big respect and thanks but obviously I know you would want all praise to God not itself but I thank God that you do help so many ppl who then also affect other ppl and so on, u know? <3 🙏 it's a big gift you know? So thank you

  9. Just as there was an earthly sanctuary, priesthood, and ministry under the old covenant, so there is a heavenly sanctuary, a heavenly priesthood, and heavenly ministry under the new covenant. However, what were only symbols, images, and a shadow (Heb. 8:5) in the old covenant became a reality in the new. Also, rather than an amoral animal as our substitute, we have the sinless Jesus; rather than animal blood, we have the blood of Christ; rather than a man-made sanctuary, we have the “true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man” (Heb. 8:2); and rather than a sinful, erring human priest, we have Jesus as our High Priest ministering in our behalf. With all this in mind, think about Paul’s words: “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great [a] salvation . . . ?” (Heb. 2:3). [SSNET]

Study for today Hebrews 8:1-6. Pray over the verses. Ask the Lord to help you understand what is being said here and why it is important for us to know it. [SSNET]

My Bible tells me that while Christ’s work on earth is finished, His work is still ongoing in the Heavenly sanctuary.
