Father God, I pray for my sister reading this now. Those around her may want her to respond, to make a decision, or to say or do something now, but help her, Father, to slow down and wait for your direction. It is not her schedule you are working according to or anyone else’s but yours. Help her, Lord, to wait on you and not allow herself to be rushed. In her waiting, she will hear your still, small voice. In her slowing down, she will see what you want her to do. Quiet her with your love and with the truth of your word. Slow her down on the inside by your Holy Spirit, and help her be at rest. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
