All He needs you to do is shine.

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

For months, God has been showing me the same vision of someone lost at sea. They have drifted far from land and as they are in the water, they see in the distance, a light. My sister, we are that light. We are giving hope to those who are lost, those who have drifted away from God and want to return to Him. A lighthouse is strategically placed to give lost ships at sea a way to get back to land. It’s light stretches for miles and miles. You have been strategically placed by God in this world, in your family, on your job, in your community, and in your church by divine design to emit a light that stretches far and wide. Once your beam of light reaches someone, God’s rescue mission of saving them begins. This is why it is important that you continue to shine brightly for the Lord. God is using your light to bring lost souls home. He doesn’t need you to save or deliver anyone. That is His job. All your Father God needs you to do, my sister, is shine.

Prayer: Yes, Lord. Help me shine your light at all times. I pray you use it to bring many home to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Good morning my sisters! ๐ŸŒž I pray we all have a blessed day & reflect God’s light & love to all we meet. Sister Kesha, this is such a beautiful, uplifting message. Thank you & Thank You, my Lord, for saving & loving me. I’m eternally grateful. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. So thankful for this Word today… to remind me that I am a lighthouse strategically placed by God in this world to shine brightly for the Him. It is my responsibility to shine and help bring lost souls home. God allow me to shine with my life and my devotion to You and Your calling.

  3. I think that the most beautiful lights seem to be attacked the most by the shadows of darkness. Such lights can become wearied by the onslaughts of attacks. It is at the crossroads of weariness that one can determine to go forth and continue to shine or turn back and succumb to the darkness. Turbulent questions of the soul can threaten to quench the bearer of light. It is in the presence of Christ, my Light and Lord that I find the courage to row forward reflecting His Light. The solace of the scriptures and His sweet words whispered deep into the crevices of my heart brings a peace in the midst of the turmoil of my soul until turmoil is overcome by His overwhelming love that I cannot deny. That is why I chose to continue to be a light. Iโ€™ve fallen so deep in love with Him that I never want to be separated. He does not have to answer my questions. I know in the depths of my heart that He is good no matter what it looks like or feel like and the evil that I see. It is a beautiful place to love God in spite of what I donโ€™t understand about Him. I pray that I will never abandon this place. It is only by His Grace and Strength that I can stand. My trails push me to want to know Him and His Ways more. Yesterday, I questioned the day I was born, but there was still this flicker of light in me that would not die. An unexpected gesture from my son made that flicker of light come back stronger and brighter. His prayer dug into the ashes he saw befallen me as was made known when he prayed, Lord my mom has been quiet for two days which is unusual because she is always teaching and trying to build me. He even noticed that I was not playing worship songs or listening to encouraging messages or talking excitedly about the Lord. He saw the trails began to kill my spirit. He prayed that God would strengthen me and give me peace and help me to see what He was creating me to be in the midst of the trails. His question, โ€œmom can I pray for you?โ€ And His prayer brightened my fading light. He could be light to me because He has seen light in me time and time again. Knowing my light has had impact on him gives me strength and reason to keep shining for him and others. Lord give me strength and courage to shine even brighter than I have before. Get the glory out of my life that you may be glorified as you shine in and through me, oh my guiding Light.

  4. Good evening daughter of the KING… WHAT an awesome message I loved it, it was so meant for me. The last month I was so distant from God the enemy stole my joy, my peace my light, I even questioned the lord. I cracked my ankle and it kept me away from other believers I lost the will to pray, I was just feeling depressed and in a dark place . But your message brought me back to the light. Alleluia ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘

  5. Lord, use me to shine my light to others to find God and receive salvation. Praise God. God bless all my sisters

  6. You did it again, Lord. You answered my prayers. I was unsure how to react to a family situation. Sometimes. I feel that I have to take action and fix things. Thatโ€™s not my job as You are the great Deliverer. I just need to be that light that shines and brings others to You! Use me Lord for Your good! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพโ™ฅ๏ธ

  7. I benefited from reading this and also from watching your video. I watched it twice and wrote the affirmations on paper. I needed this boost.

  8. Hey sis! I listened to the video that correlates with this devotional last night and oooooh was I blessed! I also read this devotional a few days ago. I am so glad I finally got over to the video and watched it. Whew, what it did for me! It is something I will listen to over and over again throughout my life. Never again will I question the day I was born. I will keep shining! No man made lighthouse will be more durable than me, the lighthouse of the Lord. ๐Ÿ˜…Keep shining for the Lights of All Lights, Our King Jesus, One and Only God and Holy Spirit!

Your ministry has been a lighthouse to me over the last few years. I am truly grateful! I love you, mighty woman of God.
