“Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life…Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?” Matthew 6:25-26, Amplified.
God’s heart is that we learn to live without a care in the world. The Message Bible says the birds who are free and have no job description are careless in the care of God. They don’t have money, but they eat each day. They don’t have a home, but they always receive shelter. They fly in their freedom, and every day the Lord never fails them. If God provides for them, would He not provide for you? If He works out each day for them, will He not do it for you? You are worth far more than all the birds combined.
Be encouraged to let it all go, daughter of God. There is so much you could worry about, but it will surely keep you from truly living. Your Heavenly Father knows what you need before you even ask. Enjoy your precious moments. Fly in your freedom. Go after the kingdom and His righteousness, and He will handle the rest.
Prayer: Father, I give you praise, and I thank you for your word. I declare I live without a care in the world! I am careless in your care, trusting by faith in you. Help me to enjoy my life abundantly and not worry about the situations of my life. May I enjoy my precious moments. I will praise you like it’s already done. I will fly in my freedom that Jesus has given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Praise the living God! God confirms His word. Your devotionals truly speak to me an are always on time. This morning after reading your devotional and as I was walking to catch the bus, I found $5 without having to “work fo it”. It reminded me of the devotional and I had to leave a comment. The Lord provides in many ways. It may not have been a lot to someone else but it was definitely a reminder for me of WHT Go can do. He can even send you money through the mail that I can testify too. All last month He did this! God is our ultimate provider!

but sometimes birds starve or die due to extreme weather conditions, and birds do get run over by cars. Birds get killed by predators. So this verse in the Bible never connected with me, sorry. Maybe because i am a worrier.
