Choose your battles wisely.

“…guard what God has entrusted to you. Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge” 1 Timothy 6:20, NLT.

My sister, every situation that presents itself to you is not for you to engage in. Some battles are not productive, and are not worth your time or energy. Just as you’re beginning to make real progress in this season of your life, it is important that you choose your battles wisely. Check in with the Holy Spirit when you are presented with an opportunity to engage in conflict.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for your wisdom. I ask that you lead me as to what to engage in or leave alone. Guide me by your Holy Spirit so that I won’t waste valuable time and energy. Help me to choose my battles wisely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Thank you Lord for your wisdom
I needed to hear this today
to be slow to speak and quick to listen even when
    I am provoked to react.
To apply wisdom is the principal thing
The Lord Jesus applied wisdom in His earthly ministry.
The guiding principle IS ”What would Jesus do in this situation?

  2. Wow. This post is for me as it brings confirmation to what the Lord has spoken to me for the last two days. I’m moving forward and shut all unfruitfulness down. I will keep a guide on my heart, mind and mouth at all times. The Lord spoke this very post to me clearly yesterday and I begun to pray.

Lord, I take the correction, shut the door and give You my battles. I know this battle is not mine but Yours, in Jesus’ name. Let Your glory be revealed, like only You can.

Thank you Sis. Kesha for being straightforward, to the point and for your prayers. You are appreciated. Thank you for being faithful to what our Heavenly Father’s spirit has called you to converse to His daughters on a daily basis.

    Blessings, Shalom and Agape.

  3. Sometimes it’s better to be silent, then to speak out. Especially if it’s a heated discussion. Pray and wait upon the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and always speak in love!! Thank you God!

Just wanted to share with you that for the past week, all the devos you’ve posted have been exact confirmation from God to me. Exact words that He only knows.

I thank you with all my heart for letting yourself guided so much by the Holy spirit and blessing all of us with your amazing ministry. You’ve been impacting me so much during these past years and I felt like I needed to tell you. Surely God has his hand upon you.

May God bless you richly in whatever you do.
