God’s provision is in His wisdom.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

I remember for almost two years, my husband and I were without transportation. We were newly weds in a new city, struggling. While walking one day from the store, carrying bags of groceries in my hands, as cars sped by, I said, “Lord, God, we need a car!” The Lord didn’t give us a car, He gave us wisdom in prayer.

We were in the wrong city, in the wrong place. Once we came together in prayer and located the wisdom of God, we moved and instantly God began to move. Doors began to open, and within a week we had a new car.

My sister, the will of God is the wisdom of God, and His provision is always in His wisdom.

You may have asked the Lord to meet a need in your life. While you’re seeking Him in prayer, He’s going to help you locate His wisdom. When He does, follow it, and He will minister to your need.

Prayer: Father, you are my shepherd, I shall not want. As long as you’re leading me and I’m following you, you will provide and take care of me. More than any need in my life, I ask for your wisdom and your guidance. Show me the way you want me to go. As I receive and follow your wisdom, I know you will supply my every need as you said you would. Help me not to lean to my own understanding, but trust in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  4. Lord I have been repeating this verse for a couple of days. My husband and I are in need of tires for our vehicles we have owed taxes that we need to pay groceries are higher than they have ever been. I have been trying to trust and understand and lean on the word of God. Today I am reading this. So Jesus please give us your wisdom and understanding show us the way you would like us to take. Y

  6. Lord into Your wise hands I commit my needs . Lead me to my place of provision and help me trust you with all my whole heart and not to lean on my own understanding.. That in all my ways I acknowledge You in Jesus mighty name I ask amen

  7. God on high, most gracious and loving God, thank You for this “down” time in my life! It is giving me the opportunity to know You better. The opportunity to learn to listen to Your guidance better! I know it is all going to come together for me in Your time, because I feel You moving me! I thank You and love You to life!   8. Lord I ask for your wisdom and guidance thru every aspects of my life. Teach me your wisdom. Help me to know it and recognized it. Lord I lay it all at your feet. Your will be done and not mine. I surrender everything to you. Thank you dear God🙏
