“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him…” Colossians 2:6-7 NKJV.
“Do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you” Romans 11:18 NKJV.
One day, I was outside doing yard work and couldn’t get over how many roots I saw. They ran wide and deep. This happened after we had cleared our backyard of trees and stomps.
Make room and clear the way for more of the Lord. Now is the time to have deep, strong roots. He’s making you to have a strong root system. Roots that run deep in Jesus. Roots that run deep in faith and deep in joy. Roots that run deep in His word. Rooted and grounded in His love. Receive just how deep and wide is God’s love for you. Your root system will determine not only your ability to stand strong in adversity but also your ability to grow and stand higher. Higher than you’ve ever been in your life.
Prayer: Father, thank you for making me a tree of righteousness to grow high in you. Make me to know how wide and deep your love is. Help my roots to run deep and strong in Christ in every way. Help me to grow deep and high in my calling. I declare that because I am rooted in Him, I shall not be moved, and I will yield great fruit for your glory in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
