“Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility.” Proverbs 18:12, NKJV.
It takes a humble woman to say I need God. You acknowledge that you can’t do it on your own. You can’t open the right doors. You can’t be what your family needs. You can’t have good success on your own. You can’t make an impact yourself, and if God doesn’t fix it, it will remain broken. Even as a strong woman, you show yourself to not be strong at all without God. Humble yourself and recognize that He is God with all strength, He is all-wise, He is all-powerful, and you are not. He made you, He knows you and He said He will do it for you, therefore, you will live humble toward God.
God has said He will be everything you need and He will. Your humility will always lead to obedience, and your obedience will always lead to honor. A heart of pride will ultimately dishonor you and destroy you, yet humility will always cause you to receive from God the very thing you seek. As you become a humble woman and trust God with your life, the honor, the wealth, the increase, the fulfillment in your life will surely follow.
Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to your daughter. Help her to be a woman of humility. She can’t do this on her own. You are God and she is not. Help her to live according to Who you are, and Who you have said You will be for her. Begin with humility and shape her into the woman of honor you have called her to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praise God! What an on time encouraging word especially in a season where I really need guidance and humility for what needs to be repaired and restored with family. I see the ugliness and heaviness of bitterness in my heart because of past hurts. You don’t notice the elephant until it truly is in the room. I thank God that in His presence this is the time for pruning, resolve and establishment. Thank you Beloved for your obedience in sharing the Word and revelations of God. Amen.

These devotionals are always just so timely. Whether it is one written by you, Kesha, your husband or one you chose from the DOTK community. You got that anointed touch to pick just the right one! I just get teary eyed in my heart sometimes when I read these devotionals truly breathed by Holy Spirit as evident of how they meet me right where I am and minister directly to my heart.
I was teary eyed in my heart a few minutes ago when I signed up to donate montly to your ministry. Whew, I think God for wisdom. I’ve been wanting to give again to this ministry but kept saying I will do it when I have more money.
Tonight, Holy Spirit said just give x amount a month. It all adds up. Now, I am officially giving monthly to a ministry that has “kept me” (because it has been tough) on this journey to being the leading lady He wants me to be in His Kingdom for His Glory. So glad to be planting seed into this fruit-bearing ministry of God. Yay, I am a DOTK financial partner! 🙌 I am giving on the regular. Not just receiving on the regular. 😅 I am helping grow the ministry that is helping me to grow and develop into the leading woman of God He has called me to be for His Glory and His Glory, “only”.
