When you find yourself longing for what’s old and familiar. When moving forward into the unknown frightens you. That’s when the Lord your God squeezes your right hand, calls you by your name, getting your full attention, and whispers, “It’s going to be okay. Keep walking with Me, daughter, your destiny is waiting.”
Prayer: Father, only you know how much I long to please you and do your will. When the old and familiar calls at me because of fear of anything new and unknown, help me keep putting one foot in front of the other. Turn my baby steps into a run, Lord, and turn my run into eagle flight. Help me trust you with my future. I place my life in your hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
