“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed” Luke 4:18, ESV.
God delivered the people of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, but they still had to walk out of Egypt. They had to put one foot in front of the other and walk towards the land of promise. This is something no one could have done for them.
Today, my covenant sister, I proclaim liberty to you! Right now in this moment, I announce to you that Jesus Christ has set you free by His blood and power! It’s now up to you to believe that what I’m telling you is the truth! It’s up to you to walk out of that place you’ve been in for far too long. It’s up to you to put one foot in front of the other and continue to move forward. No one can do that for you.
The road ahead may seem rough, but what you don’t know is God has already gone before you and has smoothed out your path and has conquered your enemies. The road ahead may seem long, but what you don’t know is God is hastening the time for you, and what took other people years to recover from and accomplish, He will grace you to recover and seize your destiny in half the time! Don’t you lean to your own understanding…not now! Trust in the Lord with all your heart; He is directing your path to absolute victory!
Continue to walk. Continue to move forward. Place one front in front of the other. Every step you take in the right direction puts you one step closer to reaching God’s promised land for you!
Prayer: Father God, I thank you for your wonderful encouragement to my heart. I believe you have set me free from all bondage through Jesus, and now I receive your powerful grace to rise and walk out of this place I’ve been in for far too long. I receive your grace not to stand still in terror, but to continue to make forward steps in you. Thank you Lord. I trust you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
