Let My Word Settle You

“Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven,” Psalm 119:89, NASB.

“And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]” Colossians 3:15, Amplified.

“My daughter, when you are full of care and worry, there’s only one thing that can settle you—the truth of My Word. When everything in your life crumbles, My Word stands firm. When you feel sad, angry or uncertain about the future, My Word stands firm. When you are shaken by the news, My powerful truth stands firm like a rock. Let the truth of My Word settle you, daughter. Let it settle your mind, and your emotions. I will minister peace to your heart. Focus on My promises and speak them out loud. See how My Word brings you back into focus and calms all your fears. I want to settle you today, says the Lord!”

  1. Thank you Lord for working in Your mysterious ways…we keep saying Your truths to each other. In worldly times my situation would rock and shake someone to their core but i choose to give you my hurt and sadness. I see how You orchestrated his life until he entered heaven, and I know You’re still caring and about me.
    You know my health problems and my parents have even bigger issues, plus all the hoops and ladders I have to go through to settle his estate and make sure my money is protected . I cast all these cares on to you, Lord. and all the private ones too; for I know who holds my heart and from whence comes my help. I sitting in my parents guest bedroom singing this sing, “I have a good, good Father, He is good all the time and all the time He is good because He is a good, good Father! He gives us the moon to light the night, he makes the sun shine …to help us do things right, he waters the flowers and the grass. He’s a giver of all good gifts and every morning he has new mercies for us! For us! For us! We are his children and he is our good good Father! Amen and Amen.”

  7. Yes, Father, lately my heart has been feeling like a bird inside a tiny cage. I confess to You that I’ve been angry, sad, worried about many things that I can NOT comprehend and frustrate me. But today, when I woke, and before I even read the Word, I stood before you in prayers asking for Your help, while looking out the window and admiring the beautiful Sun, which reminded me that You are near. With joy in my heart, I said to myself, “Lord, I know that You have something special for me today. I’ll receive it in the mighty name of Jesus.” …And there it was…Your encouraging Message: I AM SETTLED, NOW! Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Kisha. Bless!
