I remember years ago when thunderstorms and a tornado swept through southwest Georgia. Looking out of the window, my two-year-old daughter said, “Mommy, storm!” I said, “I know, but you see these walls? The storm can’t get through these walls.” She continued to look outside the window, and the more she looked at the trees and heard the strong winds, the more afraid she became. Again, she cried, “Mommy, storm!” And again, I reassured her. “I know, but the storm is out there, and you are in here.” As soon as those words left my lips, I heard the voice of Holy Spirit speaking to me. He said, “The storms in your life are on the outside of you, but your spirit is safe in Me.”
My sister, in life, we all experience storms, and the more we look out at the chaos and hear the strong winds, the more afraid we can become. But God wants us to know, the storms in our lives are on the outside of us, but our spirit man is safe in Him. No matter how it looks, He is still in full control! The Lord is our refuge. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. We run to Him and are safe! When we focus on His truth instead of the storm, we receive His supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. He is right there, and He will calm you in the midst of the storm.
Prayer: I praise you, Lord because I am safe in you! I praise you because you are my rock, my refuge, and my hiding place. No matter what is going on outside of me, there’s a place within me that the storm can’t reach. Thank you for the peace your truth brings to me, Father. I will trust you as we ride out the storms of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Yes word of God is my refuge I’m going coming through an storm I never thought of could have imagined it but I can say God brought me through it he carried and still carrying me through it all no matter how rough the storm have gotten he carried me through it all

Good morning Father, my Shield, my Rock, my Redeemer! You are so wonderful and majestic! No other god can cover us and keep us shelter in the mist of a storm but You! Thank You Lord God! I have had many storms and will have many more, but I will gladly stand in them because I know Who shelters me! I love You Father God! These things I pray in Your Son Jesus Christ name, Amen! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

The other day my 5 year old was referring to a family friend. He told me, “Mommy, I love him!” I said really? Why do you love him?
My son said “Because he helps me with everything!!!.
When he said that I automatically thought of Jesus!
Thank you for this reminder. Even though the storm, the wind and waves best against me, I know that the Lord my rock and refuge in whom I can trust. His rod and staff will comfort me. I believe the Lord will get the Glory out of our life. Blessings, Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽
I hear You speaking to my heart, Lord, and I receive every word. I feel myself shifting to a different perspective – one that is totally relinquishing all my cares and worries and trusting in You. My hope and confidence lies with the One who is my rock, refuge, and strong tower. There is no one like You, and moving forward my reactions to the storms in my life will be different.
