My sister, you are growing!

“Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.” Ephesians 4:15, New Living Translation.

You are in a season of growth and maturity, my sister. You are learning how to walk in God’s love, how to apply your faith, how to see with your spiritual eyes and hear with your spiritual ears. You are learning how to live wisely, how to win the lost with compassion, and how to suffer and lay your life down for Him. You are going through a pruning process and people are seeing beautiful growth in your life. Isn’t it a true blessing to grow in Christ? Even if it’s an inch of progress, I celebrate with you the inch. And when you mistakenly default to old ways, ask God’s forgiveness, and receive His great love and mercy. Then, keep on going. The enemy would love for you to stop, but don’t give him the satisfaction. You’ve come too far to stop now. “Keep on growing in Me”, God says. “My rewards are great when you let Me prune you, when you let Me mature you and make you wiser than you ever imagined you’d be.”

Prayer: My Father, I am excited about the growth track you have me on. It’s painful sometimes, but I know you are a wonderful God and you have the best in mind for me! Keep on pruning me, keep on maturing me and helping me grow in Christ. I thank you for helping me get better and better everyday. When I feel I haven’t moved an inch, help me Lord to stay encouraged. Open my eyes to see what you’ve accomplished in me so far. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Thank you! It feels like punishment…
you cannot have growth without change (maturity)
you can’t have change without loss (pruning)
you can’t have lost without pain (suffering) therefore growth is painful! πŸ•ŠοΈ

  2. Encouraged by this word, I am being tested just now, I am in hospital right now waiting for a ct scan, the valve to my heart as narrowed, won’t know until the scan and the cardiologist sees the results what the next step will be .. each and every moment of my time here I’ve known the presence and God, knowing He is in control..

  7. Once again I find myself in the fiery furnace….the raging storm….but thou He slay me, yet will I Trust Him. It hasn’t been pleasant, in fact its been quit challenging,, but Im not backing down and I’m not shrinking back BECAUSE I will see the Victory….God is FAITHFUL! I have learned in Christ its been in and through the trials, tribulations, and storms is where I have and continue to grow, develop, and mature, and even become equipped. His ways and His thoughts are not ours, they are so much higher than ours. Storms are simply opportunities to get a better glimpse of our Savior as we encounter Him in the storms as He continues to display His awesome power and faithfulness while transforming us more and more into His Image in the midst….πŸ™Œβ€οΈπŸ™Œ Thus I will Praiss Him in the storm…hallelujah!
