My sister, what does success look like to you? Think about that for a moment.
Some people have the appearance of success, but wonder why they are still unhappy. It is because true success comes from 1) surrendering our lives to the Lord, and 2) obeying Him.
Sometimes God will tell you to leave the six-figure salary to step into your calling. If you do, you are successful. Sometimes God will have you say something that will not be applauded but bring ridicule and attacks. If you do speak, you are successful. When God does this, He’s teaching you what true success is—surrender and obedience.
My sister, you are successful when you are obedient. Your most fulfilling days are when you do what the Lord tells you to do, leaving the results to Him.
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for speaking to my heart and renewing my mind. I want to be what you consider successful, so help me be obedient and leave the results to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
