This morning as my children walked out the door to go to school, I blessed them and said, Now, go be the great kids God made you to be. Be like the sun! The sun is what? They all yelled back, Bright! And giggled. I said, that’s true, but the sun is also seen and felt.
Seen and felt.
My sister, you have been through too much and have come too far to not give yourself a chance. The gift God has put in you does you no good if it stays hidden. As Jesus said, no one lights a candle and puts it under a table. They light the candle and put it on a stand so it can light up the room. No matter how small or large your room of influence is, LIGHT IT UP, SISTER! You be that bright and beautiful, that warm and blessed light God made you to be. Okay? Okay.
Father, thank you for your light that is within me. Let your love and your light in me be seen and felt today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
