“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

My sister, when everything reminds you of what you’ve lost, God will remind you of what you’ve found in Him. You’ve found His way, His truth and you’ve found His life. This will give you hope when you feel hopeless. God wakes you morning by morning because He has a purpose for your life. Look to Him and find the comfort you need. Learn of Him and find the soul rest you need. He never leaves you alone, never. He is the lifter up of your head. He is your way in the wilderness. He is your safety in the storm. Yes, He is your guide. He comforts all who mourn, and gives you beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning. He is lifting the spirit of heaviness from you now, and He is giving you a garment of praise. Receive what He is giving you.

The Lord is commanding His peace and He is commanding His joy for you. He is wiping your tears away and strengthening you from the inside. Open your eyes and see His great love that surpasses all knowledge. He will do exceeding abundantly above all you can ask or think. Just when you thought your life was over because of what you lost, He will show you, no, your life is just beginning! Your latter will be greater! God is turning your bitter waters into sweet because He cares for you deeply and He loves you with an everlasting love. You are the object of His affection and He is your Comforter.

Prayer: Father God, you are my comforter and I love you. Thank you for everything you are wanting to give me in this moment. I receive it all by faith. Your work in my heart and mind is precious. I pray you lift every burden and all heaviness and give me a garment of praise. Father, navigate me through this into green pastures and wholeness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Amen ,Thank you Father God for another day rising with your love and your comfort me through the heavy burden that has been waiting me down but by God‘s grace and his mercy his love and protection cover me in the name of Jesus comfort me during this time I love you father you are the only one I have and I trust in your word and lean on you press down shake it together with all God‘s praise and glory in the name of Jesus Christ Amen in the mist of it all I praise you in the name of Jesus no weapon form against me should prosper🙌🏾🙏🏾💜 God‘s love cover me🙏🏾

  2. Thank you for this , I lost my father 4 days ago in a very unexpectrd way. And has a family we are lost we dont know how we will continue, but this words just come in the exactly moment. I am at work in the bathroom crying asking for helo to God and I open this.thank you for the words thank you I receive them with faith and hope.

  3. Thank You Father for this reminder, I needed it. I declare over myself You are my Comforter and I am the object of Your affection…..wow, that You care so much for me! Of course You do for I am Your Workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works that You planned long ago that I should walk in them. For today Lord, help me find the path to walk it out.   4. Keesha, you have no idea how your encouraging words through the spirit of God has kept me in one piece over these four of six years. You have learned and grasp how to follow the spirit’s keading. Even when you do not understand the why, please continue to follow him. His words through you have practically saved my life. This resonates so well with me because I was at the brink of checking out multiple times in that period and these words remind me that I have a reason to live even though I do not see it yet I am holding out on the thread of hope that it will be shown to me soon.

  7. Thank you Jesus for this beautiful message today. I lost a son almost 5 years ago. I think about him everyday, but his birthday is coming up at the end of this month. So in my alone time this morning I told you Lord that one hurt. I have been through many trials and tribulations but that one hurt the absolute most. But I know where he is and the devo has reminded me that you know my hurts and my pains but I also know that there has never been a minute I have walked alone. You walked with me through every hill and every valley. I know I have found the greatest treasure in you Jesus no amount of money, cars, friendships or anything could replace you. You are what my soul truly longs for thank you Jesus
