You will know the hand of the Lord.

“For the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan River before you until you had crossed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever” Joshua 4:23-24, NKJV.

The Lord brought the people of Israel across the Red Sea, and through the wilderness. They had seen His wonderful works before, and now, 40 years later, they were about to see Him move again. The Jordan River represented the last boundary before entering the promised land. It was 100 feet across and 10 feet deep. The river bank was overflowing at a flood stage, and it was time of harvest. This was the scene, my sister. Here, you have 40 thousand people with the memory of all God had done in the past, and now they needed Him to do it again. The Lord gave Joshua instructions and as soon as the priests, while holding the ark of the Covenant, stepped the soles of the feet at the river’s edge, the overflowing waters stood still, as tall as a heap. Every single person, all 40 thousand of them, walked over on dry land. He told the people to collect twelve stones as a memorial of what God had done, and then He caused the waters to return.

The Lord did this so that all the peoples of the earth would know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty, and fear the Lord forever. My sister, you are at the last boundary. You have years of wilderness experiences behind you, the promised land before you, and the Lord is saying today, you are entering in! You will know and become fully acquainted with God’s hand, His involvement, His mighty works, His signs and wonders! Jesus! The hand of the Lord is still saving and will save you and your children! The hand of the Lord is still healing and will heal you. The hand of the Lord is still delivering, still guiding, and still providing. His hand has not lost its power. His hand is still mighty. You will see His sovereign hand in your life, and it will cause you to rest. You will rest more, my sister, than you ever have. You will laugh more than you ever have. You will be more of a blessing because the same hand of God you witness in your life, you will desire for others to see and know!

Prayer: Hallelujah, Father! Thank you for speaking to me by your Holy Spirit. Yes, Father, I believe and receive this word by faith. May it be unto me as you’ve spoken. Cause me and all the peoples of the earth to know your hand, that it is mighty, and deeply reverence and obey you forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  2. Good morning! It’s still the word of God, but I loved the way you had devotionals before. It was more personal and not as cut and dry. It came with current and real stories of comparisons. The testimonials was something I could relate to on a daily basis. It helped me for many year’s. Please go back to the way you had. God bless,

    1. My precious sister, thank you for your feedback. The goal is to obey the Lord and share what He gives me to share. Sometimes what He gives me to share is more personal in nature, and sometimes more direct, and as you said, cut and dry. God is glorified in both. Can’t go back to anything, why do so, when He’s doing a new thing, my sister. Stick around, and you will see the personal stories and testimonies amaze you! Glory to God!

May he restore onto you and those whom served that which was poured out.
I humbly THANK YOU for your obedience onto GOD, this word is timely as his constant word to me “Be still and know that I am GOD!”
I want to let all go and let him, stop striving for perfection, trying to take on his responsibility, analyze and control!!!
Faith, patience, and meekness (power under control)

  7. Good day Is there away to go back to the old format for the devotionals? I share them with a lot of women . and I noticed now it looks like a very long long text and I’m afraid when they see that they won’t read it in it’s entirety . Also is there away to know when your revivals are ? you where 20 mins from my house in Pa !!!

  8. Amen, I believe it, receive it, and most importantly embrace it in the name of Jesus! It was a pleasure to have met you in person. I trust the Lord delivered me on that revival. He is faithful and even though God allowed you to make a few changes to your link I still Love that He is still speaking to His daughters. Change does not always seem pleasurable but it is always beneficial πŸ’œ New things in this New Season! The journey has just begun, Amen! Many blessings to you and your family.

May I give feedback regarding the new app please. So grateful for all you do to get the word out to us. Just want to mention that I find the font of the devotionals on the app harder to read. I am an older member of the DOTK family but it will really help if you could use a different font like Arial or something similar. Just thought to share. God bless you all!
