I will have no part in it.

“For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield” Psalms 5:12, ESV.

Years ago, my husband had to make an important decision to leave his job due to corruption in top management. It was tough for him because of his love for his coworkers. Even though they behaved like heathens, he loved them as brothers. He turned down their advances to watch pornography at work. He turned down their invitations to drink. He wouldn’t curse with them or gossip but was still able to be a friend and tell them about the Lord. The moment of truth came when they wanted him to lie. He responded, “No, I will have no part in it.”

As he spoke with his supervisor, I listened to the conversation, and my heart remembers every word he said. “Due to the dishonesty of management, I can no longer work here. We don’t have to lie to get an extra buck. We can do things right and honor God, and He will bless us. Anytime you lie, it always catches up with you.” His words were filled with love, and his eyes were full of tears. Yet, his voice was stern and his stance unmovable. After the conversation, I told him how proud I was of him and kissed his head. A year later, the Lord opened a great door for him at a new company, making almost triple his salary. Glory to God!

My sister, the time will come when you must stand for the Lord and trust Him with the outcome. Do what you know in your heart is the right thing to do. God will lead your every step and fill your mouth with what to say. Remember, if you stay true to what’s right, God will bless you and make you a great blessing. You will not lack. He will sustain you until the new opportunity arrives. He has commanded the blessing over your life and finances and has carefully laid out divine strategies to get wealth into your hands in a way that will exceed your expectations!

Prayer: Father God, thank you for giving me the heart and mind to do what’s right. Help me to make a stand for you no matter where I am. If something’s not right, help me be courageous enough to say no. Help me stand for what’s right and honor you with my life. I trust you to provide all that I need over and above abundantly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Amen is very important that we don’t lie God sees all we need to stand for righteousness you do right you get right Thank you sister

  2. I took a stand yesterday when someone sent me a prayer that said she was asking angels to watch over me; I gave citations and sources to show it’s God who commands the angels. We have to choose to abide in His presence and He gives us protection.
I pray for us to stand strong against any form of corruption and say it with love and care.

  3. THANK YOU GOD!!!

YES, GOD Answered My Prayer From last night.

Make a long story short. I AM in a similar situation at my job with a VP that created a very hostile work environment. The management team tried to retaliated on me afterward a former co-worker wrote and complained to the Board about the VP creating a hostile work environment. They management team thought I was going to lie to the 3rd party investigators about any questions that was asked about the VP. Since I didn’t, all of sudden there were 2 complaints against me from my staff I supervised.
I got suspended and had to wait until they call me.
In the meantime while I was waiting for them to call me, I went to the hospital with chest pain and 6 hours later, I was in the operation room having opened heart surgery.

I will be returning back to work on January 9th but it was told to me from another Director of Food Service that HR and CEO going to talk to me and offer me a Supervisor position in the Food Service Department because of the complaint. I have no food service experience on my resume, I have a BS in Social Service and been in the homeless population of serving (working) as Supervisor of Shelters for 17 years, only food service I have is serving the people without homes.

So when I open up the Devotional for today December 30th…God said Stella, you won’t have no part in that, you are closing this chapter up and ending the year with a Completion.
    Thanks,

  4. Yes, obedience is better than sacrifice. May the Lord give me the strength to trust and believe that no matter what I will never be forsaken or begging for bread. Thank you for this devotional. It opens my eyes to what I may not be paying attention to. Blessings, Shalom and Agape πŸ‘€πŸ™πŸ½β™₯οΈπŸ“–πŸ™ŒπŸ½
