Relationship doors are opening and closing.

“By your patience possess your souls” Luke 21:19, NKJV.

One morning I woke up to the sound of doors opening and closing. Everyone was asleep. The sound was in the Spirit. Then I heard the Lord say, “Relationship doors are opening and closing. There are people who have chosen to no longer walk with you. Those doors are closing. There are also those who desire to walk with you, and be a blessing to you. Those doors are opening. As you enter new relationships, slow down and pray. In your excitement, you can go 120 mph and quickly crash. That’s not what I want. I want you to take your time so you can receive My wisdom, purpose, and plan. Let Me be that third piece. Let Me guide the pace of the new friendship with that sister. Let Me lead you on when to meet for a date with that new guy. At any point, if you feel like you’re out there alone, moving and making plans without Me, that’s an indicator you are moving too fast and need to slow down to receive My wisdom and direction.”

Prayer: Father, no matter how excited I feel over new relationships, new friendship, or new opportunity, help me slow down and receive your wisdom, purpose and plan. Be that third piece, at the center of everything I do. Calm my excitement long enough so I can hear your voice and be led by you. You are my good Father, and love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
