The Lord wants to lead you back to “You”.

It’s been so long. So long that you don’t even recognize who you see in the mirror. Life has thrown blow after blow at you. You’re constantly battling one situation after another. Sickness, job concerns, relationship problems, and family issues. Facing each day, battling one or the other, you’re exhausted when you lay your head down at night.

Sometimes, you pass out as soon as your head hits the pillow. Other times, you lay wide awake with thoughts ruminating on how you will handle this or how you will fix that. When you start another day, as you’re looking in the mirror, you think, where have I gone? I don’t even recognize myself anymore.

The Lord says, “Breathe, my child. Bring all your troubles to me. Lay them down at my feet. Release the cares of this world into my hands and allow me to wrap my arms around you. Feel my loving embrace as you come and sit with me for a while. You were never meant to take on all the challenges this life will throw at you. I never meant for you to figure it all out. I want to be your burden bearer. I want to lead you back to “you.”

You, the one to whom I have gifted a heart that desires to help others. You, the one your friends and family call when they need an ear to listen, because they know you truly care about themβ€”you, who wants to please me even when you’re falling apart at the seams.

Allow me to remind you of all the gifts I have bestowed on you. There are so many, and you always find a way to use them for good and for my purpose. Others are drawn to you because when they come into contact with you, my light shines through to them, and they love how they feel when they are in your presence.

But I need you to be in my presence. There, you will find rest for your weary soul. There, you can share the day’s happenings with me, then leave them with me. There, where at the end of each day, I will remove all the cares of the world from your heart and mind so that you can hear me singing songs of deliverance over you. There, where you will experience fullness of joy. There, where you will sleep in peace because you know that I keep watch over you.

I have called you the light of the world. And I am pleased that you want to fulfill my purpose. As you receive my steadfast love toward you, all will be fulfilled, and even more, all will be well with you. And as you release all the concerns to Me, you will remember who “you” are. You were not lost, for I knew where you were. “You,” with your compassionate heart wrapped in kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. You were never lost, for I have never taken my eyes off of you, my holy and beloved one.”

  21. Praise the Lord! I am behind with my daily devotions, because I am taking care of my 89 yrs old mom whom is with Dementia, CKD and now cancer again. Ms. Keisha Triplett, you saved my life in 2019. Your words and the DOTK always hits right in the center of my heart. I know that the Lord has you speaking directly to me bc it’s a confirmation of what I hear from Him myself. Satan has tried to tell me I was crazy, that God wasn’t talking to me. But, I am here to tell you. I am receiving, accepting, standing, living, and believing in Jesus name. Hallelujah πŸ™Œ
Thank you for your ministry and being obedient in being a child of God. Blessings
