“Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose]” James 4:10, Amplified Bible.
Whenever I visit the ocean, I am reminded of how small I am in comparison to the vast ocean I see before me. God’s creation humbles me. When I can’t get to the ocean, I look up at the starry night sky above me, and once again, God’s creation humbles me.
This is one reason the Lord beckons us to spend time with Him daily. It helps us stay humble. Every second we spend in the presence of our almighty Father God, we are reminded of who He is and who we are. We are reminded of His goodness and His glorious plan. His beauty and holiness humbles us, and when we are humbled, we receive loads and loads of grace and mercy.
However, when we don’t visit with Him in prayer, that’s when we find ourselves thinking of ourselves more highly than we ought to think. We find ourselves forgetting who we are in comparison to an almighty God. This incorrect view of ourselves is the result of not visiting with Him.
Come on, my sister. Let’s visit with our Lord today and be humbled by His glory. Let’s enter the secret place with Him and be blessed with grace and mercy. And when anyone asks, how do you stay humble? You can say, I draw near to God in prayer. The beautiful sight of the Lord humbles me.
Prayer: Father God, thank you for your love and care for me. I draw near to you, and I ask that you will draw near to me. As I look upon you and see your goodness and mercy, I am humbled. Forgive me for not visiting with you. I receive your forgiveness and love. I ask that you keep me close to your side, Lord, and help me stay humble. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you Lord for correcting me ever so gently and showing me how much I need You. You showed me several times in the Word that You are always with me but it’s me that forgets to acknowledge You in all my ways. I endeavor to do better today and remember You are God and I am not. Thank You Lord!
Most gracious God, You are my rock and my redeemer! You are the light of my life! You are everything, and for that, I am humbled. Thank You God for creating me, so that I have the opportunity to worship You! Sometimes Lord, I loose my way. But by Your grace and mercy, You pull me back on track! Thank You Father God! I love You with my whole heart! I adore Your Majesty and Omnipotence! I thank You for allowing me to see the glory of You! These things I pray in Jesus name, Amen! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I saw the video you released today on more than anointed. It was powerful confirmation. I normally go to a business training on Wednesdays in this season, but I felt led to go to Bible study last night instead. The exact Word was ministered last night. The Lord has been speaking this Word in my heart. To receive such powerful confirmations blesses my soul to the utmost. I love the work that Holy Spirit is doing within me. He is stretching me, but it is so beautiful despite how I may feel at times. I know that He is working in me a far greater glory for His glory. He is refining me and making me pure gold in order that the treasure inside of me can be released in excellency and endure. I know that this is not something that He is only doing in me, but He is doing it for all who are no longer satisfied to be called but who want to be chosen. My sister, your ministry is such a blessing! Love you, my dear sister, in Christ. God’s Spirit bears witness with my spirit that your a real one.
