My teen daughter fell in love with a young man, and after being told she couldn’t date him anymore, she cried and broke up with him. She’s tried to be a big girl about it, but I know she’s hurting. So, when I walked into her room on this Valentine’s Day morning, I squeezed her tightly and said, I want you to know you are so loved. So loved, baby girl. She received my love and went on to school. But because I’ve been a young teen girl before, I know it takes more than a hug and some momma affirmation. It takes something special and something a bit crazy to reach her heart and get her attention. So, we’re sending a dozen roses to her school from her mother and her father with a note that says, you are so deeply loved.
Like my daughter, your heavenly Father knows you’ve been trying to be a big girl about the things you’re experiencing. He wants you to know He loves you deeply. He cares about everything that concerns you. He has already planned out every blessing, every victory, and every surprise He has waiting for you. If I, as a natural mother, want to get my daughter’s attention so she knows that she is loved, can you imagine your heavenly Father? To what extent did He go to get your attention? What surprise did He cook up so you could know without a doubt He loves you? He sent His Son, Jesus, with no guarantees that you would ever receive Him. That was a bit crazy, but He did it because He loves you. Today, people are emptying flower and candy shelves and writing poetry, songs, and such. I want you to receive every bit of God’s great love for you. Sit still for a moment and think about His deep affection for you.
Prayer: Father, thank you for pouring your love on me. I receive it all. Every drop. I pray you fill every void in my heart and fill me with a song of praise to you. You went all out in saving me. Help me go all out for you. You went to the extreme to love me. Help me go to the extreme in my love for you by how I love others. I love you. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I just woke up from a bad dream about my husband still being alive but so sick with cancer his bones were showing through his shirt. There’s more to it but I’m casting my cares and giving thanks for the love I’ve received….I’m thinking about how HE sent HIS only SON to die for me! No one else died for me!
No one else forgave all my sins and made me a new creation so I may dwell with HIM in Heavenly Places.
and No one else is a truer friend than JESUS!
So I press on because not only does HE live, but HE lives in me too!
I have more to do and by HIS SPIRIT I’m going to fulfill that purpose HE’s given me!
