One thing I ask from the Lord that will I seek, said David. One thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forth to those things that are before, said Paul. One thing I know, I was blind but now I see, said the man Jesus healed. What is your one thing, my sister? What is your primary focus? You wake up and it’s there. You lay down in your bed, and it’s there staring you in the face like a hungry child wanting to be fed. It’s one thing. Not two. Not three. Not four.
When life wants to stretch you all over the place and have you pouring a fraction of yourself into many things, the Lord brings you into focusing on one thing. I will give you one heart, one mind and one way, that you may fear Me forever for your good and for the good of your children after you, said God. He is bringing you into focus. You will not be all over the place. Stretched all over the place. The Lord is blessing you with singleness of mind and heart. You’ve been wanting to see real progress, and this is how. By letting God help you focus on one thing.
Prayer: Yes, Father, focus me. Bless me with singleness of mind, heart and purpose. Let this mind be in me which was also in Christ Jesus. I receive the focused mind of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My one thing is to stay in the presence of God. I know He is everywhere anyway, but I want to always be cognizant that He is there, that He is right beside me, walking with me, and that He is with me no matter where I go or what I do. It comforts me to know that He is with me and it helps me to walk right and talk right and to keep a prayer and a praise in my heart and on my lips! Thank you Lord Jesus for always being right here beside me! I love you Lord!
Lord thank you for everything Jesus! You are God and you are good I pray you are my one thing. I know if I seek first the kingdom of heaven everything else will fall into place. And even if circumstances aren’t ideal my peace will still overflow because my mind is stayed on you. Be my everything Jesus! Watch over all my loved ones and keep them safe today. In Jesus name Amen

One thing devotional is encouraging except I am not sure what my one thing is… I have to seek God for it.
