“When I heard these words, I sat down and wept. I mourned for days, fasting and praying before the God of heaven” Nehemiah 1:4, Berean Standard Bible.
Nehemiah was moved to tears when he discovered the state of the Jewish exiles and the destruction of the wall of Jerusalem. Instead of rushing and doing something about it, he fasted and prayed, receiving God’s plan to rebuild. My sister, hear me and hear me good. God knows about the devastation the enemy has caused in your life. He needs you to fast and pray because the Lord your God is getting ready to use you to rebuild. You are the Nehemiah of your family. You are the Nehemiah of your generation. You will rebuild your torn down home, devastated lives, and revive ministries the devil sought to destroy. Don’t rush ahead doing anything in your own power or understanding. Stay in God’s presence, pen and paper in hand, as He downloads to your spirit the rebuilding plan. Follow His instructions to the “t”, and you will see God move upon the hearts of those in your life to come help you. You will see Him give you courage in the face of opposition that only comes to stop the work. Keep focused. If God has put it in your heart to rebuild devastated places, that’s what will be. In the authority of Christ, I declare over you now according to Isaiah 61:4, you will rebuild the ancient ruins. You will repair cities destroyed long ago. You will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations.
Prayer: Father God, I receive your word spoken directly to my heart, and I receive calling to rebuild. Download to my spirit your instructions and help me move forward in them. Help me be who you called me to be, a peacemaker, a builder, a Nehemiah of my generation. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
(Read Nehemiah 1:3-5)

This morning, I read this devotional after reading something I wrote in my journal a year ago. The devotional brought confirmation and great strength to press forward regardless of the obstacles and challenges I face. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! π
I woke up this morning and the Lord directed me to many things I journaled about a year ago. One of the things were these scriptures from Exodus 31. β And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skillsβ 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. 6 Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you: 7 the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tentβ 8 the table and its articles, the pure gold lampstand and all its accessories, the altar of incense, 9 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the basin with its standβ 10 and also the woven garments, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them just as I commanded you.β
The Lordβs message to me from these scriptures that I wrote was that βGod wants to make you a furnished temple full of what is needed to fulfill His purposes in the earth. I also wrote that Ruach in the scriptures is the Hebrew word for spirit, breath and wind. The Ruach Elohim was present when the temple of the Lord was built. Godβs wants you to empty yourself so that you can be filled with the Holy Spirit. Inhale the Breath of Holy Spirit so that you can release His Wind that will move throughout the earth to fulfill His purposes. When God breathe in man, He became a living soul-having a mind and intellect.β
God imparts part of His Mind and Intellect into us so that we can go forth and do His Will in the earth by not just ministering the gospel for the saving of souls.
Though this is most important.
It is only a part of salvation. Salvation also entails bringing solutions to help meet the desperate needs of people in our times. To tear down what needs to be torn down and to build and repair what needs to be built and repaired.
*To tear down what needs to be torn down To build, rebuild and repair what is needed according to the plans and purposes of God*.
I give it all to you Father God; I’m looking forward to receiving your plan! I have pen and paper next to my computer, and on the side of my bed! Thank you God in Jesus name; and Blessings to you Keshia, and Everyone as we receive and follow God’s plan to Rebuild!!!
