An aspect of God’s character and nature that is often overlooked is His kindness. Modern dictionaries define kindness as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines it as an act of good will, or any act of benevolence which promotes the happiness or welfare of others. Kindess is also one of the fruit of the Spirit. Why? Because it is easy to be kind to someone who is kind in return. The Spirit of God is helping us come face to face with undeserved kindness, the same that He has shown us and compelling us to show the same.
With His help, we will do good to those who have tried to ruin us. With His help, we will meet the need of someone who fought against us. We will bless those who spoke against us. We will experience true freedom Jesus purchased and will show real kindness. God is helping us overcome evil with good, my sister, and leave the outcome to Him. This is how we win. My sister, we are a bold and beautiful display of the infinite, limitless riches of God’s grace and kindness through Jesus Christ!
Prayer: Father, thank you for the kindness you’ve shown me. I did nothing to earn it, yet you continue to demonstrate your kindness in my life by loving me, forgiving me, and helping me. I humble myself right now and ask you to help me show that same kindness to those around me whether deserved or not. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Good morning God! Thank You for being so kind as to waking me up this morning, after allowing me to slumber last night! You are magnificent!!! That act of kindness that You bestow upon me everyday, that I have taken for granted most of my life, is one of the most powerful miracles You perform each and everyday! That act of kindness gives me the opportunity to be be kind to other’s. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have any chances to do any of the things that You would give me the knowledge and the strength to do! Awesome and precious God, I love You and I thank You for being so kind to me!!! These things I pray in Jesus name, Amen! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
